Short answer: Renderforest is a template library (intros, logo animations, explainers, promo videos) with AI video and image generators, a logo maker and a website builder alongside. You fill in a template yourself. Unlike the other video tools we compare, it has a pay-once option: a single 1080p export for £19.99. Its terms are strict about business use, though, so check which plan you need. Launch Video Maker writes a motion reel from your website, with facts you approve and music generated for it, for £9 to £49, paid once.

What Renderforest gives you
You can try Renderforest free with test credits. Its terms say free exports are low quality and carry a watermark, and paying per project or subscribing removes it. On the UK pricing page, Lite is £6 a month billed annually or £9 monthly, with 4,800 AI credits a year and 720p template exports. Pro is £14 or £24, with 19,200 credits, 1080p exports, a premium website on your own domain and millions of stock clips, tracks and photos. Business is £29 or £44, with 36,000 credits, 4K exports and a reseller licence for up to 10 clients. Annual plans are paid upfront.
If you only need one video, Renderforest also sells a single Premium Video export for £19.99 at 1080p, with no watermark and a reseller licence.
Using it for a business
This is where Renderforest's terms need a careful read, because they pull in two directions. One section says videos you download can be used for personal, commercial and marketing purposes, including to advertise your own products. Another says the Lite and Pro subscriptions are "exclusively intended for personal use", not for making videos for anyone else, and that commercial use of any subscription means upgrading to Business (capped at 100 reselling videos) or Enterprise. The terms also rule out broadcast TV, radio and cinema unless you bought a single 1080p export or you're on Business.
If business use matters, Business or a single paid export is the option both passages agree on. This isn't legal advice; ask Renderforest if you're unsure.
Where Renderforest is the better choice
- You want a logo intro or a classic template. Renderforest's library of intros and logo animations is its core.
- You need a logo, a website and a video from one place. It sells all three.
- You want AI-generated footage. Its credits cover several generative video models; we animate your own brand and screenshots instead.
- You're an agency with a handful of clients. Business includes a reseller licence for up to 10.
